Ian West

Ian is a graduate of the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in London and has a career spanning more than 25 years in theatre, film, TV, and pedagogy. Throughout his journey he has established himself as a highly regarded educator, choreographer, and movement director. Noteworthy projects include ‘The Play What I Wrote’, with Tom Hiddleston directed by Sean Foyle, Emma Rice’s rendition of ‘Brief Encounter’, Tim Firth’s official Take That Musical ‘Greatest Days’, and Isobel McArthur’s 2023 Oliver award-winning play, ‘Pride and Prejudice* (Sort of)’, among others.
